Thoughts are powerful, and right now Gabe thinks he can’t do anything right.

When he tries to flip a pancake onto his mom’s breakfast plate, he makes a mess on the floor. When he tries to finish his math homework, he gets stuck and throws his pencil down in a huff. Every mistake he makes or struggle he faces leaves him full of gloom-and-doom thoughts.
