Overview

George is a dog with all the best intentions…

When his owner Harry leaves him alone for the day, George promises to be good. But then he spots a delicious cake on the kitchen table – and George loves cake! It's so hard to be a good dog when there are cats to chase and flowers to dig up. What will Harry say when he gets home?

Chris Haughton's funny, minimal text will delight dog lovers – and anyone who has ever met a temptation too good to resist.

  • Bold, hilarious retro-style artwork
  • A playful story about temptation and trying to be good
  • Great for reading aloud and joining in
  • Nominated for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize

Perfect for ages 0-5
